A very large part of me just wants to quit everything [mostly just school...actually more like Greek II] and just plant a garden. I guess it's good that it is still cold out...maybe by the time it is warm enough to begin sewing seed, I will have my head on straight and be thinking "rationally".
I can't wait to smell dirt...

we just discussed the global food crisis in my Global Issues class.
As a result, I have decided to become a vegetarian, and plant my own garden as soon as I am able.
How ironic that you post this today...
I want to smell dirt, too.
sweet! Holly and I are attempting to become consumer vegetarians...basically we ourselves will not buy meet, but won't refuse it if someone offers it [like if we have dinner with someone...]
hopefully it goes well.
a little help in your endeavors:
Genesis 1 says that God gave us everything green to eat, nothing about eating animals.
i read online this week that if everyone became a vegetarian then the global food crisis would virtually disappear, the world's fresh water shortage would lessen, and how rainforests wouldn't be destroyed to make fields to graze cows so they can be slaughtered. oh! and the animals wouldn't die.
this inspired me. i too have decided to become a vegetarian. or at least try to be. i haven't had meat all day. im proud of myself. :)
i'm looking forward to being more healthy.
awesome man! stay strong! it is not an easy tranformation, but it is worth it!
I am just trying not to be too hard on myself with it and ease into it
I really want to garden. I don't know anything about gardening and I don't have anywhere to garden, but I really want a hobby that's constructive and I keep coming back to gardening.
Sorry, I haven't been inspired to be a vegetarian and don't feel any real conviction about it. I do respect other people who make this decision, but I don't see the value of it.
well I would say that it isn't something I believe everyone has to do, but to say there is no value in it is a little far...
